  • Condition: This is a 100% real TRUE TEMPER KELLY WOODSLASHER Single bit axe head. The axe head has a good cutting edge with some minor chips and nicks on it. The poll end does have a few "HAMMER" marks on it, along with some slight mushrooming (see pics). The axe head does have some scratches, scrapes, dings and some pitting on it, like you would usually find on a vintage used wood working tool, like this old axe head (see all pics). No breaks or cracks in the steel. The axe head still retains some of the original factory RED paint that was used on the WOODSLASHER axes (look inside the eye of the axe head in pic #9 and you will see some RED paint). Another way to tell this is a TRUE TEMPER axe is the 6 ribs in the axe eye (see pic 9 again).

    GOOD! Vintage True Temper Kelly Wood Slasher Single Bit Axe Head With 6 Rib Eye
    This is a 100% real TRUE TEMPER KELLY WOODSLASHER Single bit axe head. The axe head has a good cutting edge with some minor chips and nicks on it.     paint). Another way to tell this is a TRUE TEMPER axe is the 6 ribs in the axe eye (see pic 9 again). The axe head weighs in at 3 pounds 8.8 oz. (3-1/2 pounds). The axe head is 7-5/8" long, with the cutting edge of 4-3/4" wide.
    Over all this is a nice vintage TRUE TEMPER "WOODSLASHER" single bit axe, that looks GOOD!
