COCONUT SHELL HEAD MERMAID with FULL BODY
Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
I purchased this NEW at a craft show in Puerto Vallarta about 9 years ago. It came right from the artist who made it. I have had it stored away the entire time...just one more souvenir I purchased and never got around to hanging :)
This curvy mermaid measures about 17" long(top of head to bottom of tail) x 12" across(finger tip to finger tip). Her coconut shell head is about 4" round with an additional inch on top of "hair". There is a hole at the top of her head to put roping/ribbon/string to hang on the wall.
The body is 3D in spots and is painted canvas or paper
Mache
(I believe). 3 ribbon streamers are attached to the head on each side.
The piece is beautifully done and is very colorful. Quality made. I know you will be pleased with your purchase.
