Armando Jimenez the grandson of the master woodcarver Manuel Jimenez, of Arrazola, Oaxaca. Armando work with his wife and their children. They carry on the tradition of sensitively observed naturalistic carving and colorful but restrained painting mastered by their grandfather.
Arrazola in Oaxaca is one of the most famous villages for the traditional wood carvings.
