I am extremely excited to offer this
Very RARE
covered butter dish made by Greentown Glass/ Indiana Tumbler & Goblet Company. This butter dish is made in beautiful chocolate slag glass with the pattern #375 Cactus. This butter dish is about 5" tall. The bottom plate for the butter dish measures 7 1/2" diameter. The lid for the butter dish measures 5 1/4" diameter. There is a small chip in one of the herringbone sections on the lid (see photo #7). There is also a small chip in the ruffled band on the lid. I tried to get a picture of it, but it blended in. There are some tiny fleabites on the inside edge of the lid that can be felt, but not easily seen. None of these distract from the butter dish and I only mention them for accuracy. There are some normal manufacturing flaws, such as, straw marks.
This is a must have for your collection. You never know when one of these will be available again!
