The tool is made from a kiln dried white ash on my 2014 - SOUTH BEND lathe. Very strong thing, with excellent feel in your hand ... Super strong wood with nice grain......
This baton is exactly 13.6 oz. total weight
(says my digital scale :).
Top to bottom 17.75 inches long.
Excellent feel of the sweet spot on the handle.
