This is a Medium size Wood Nicho / Retablo / Shadow Box with a printed image of the Our Lady of Guadalupe /
Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe
in the middle.  The boarder has all been
hand painted
with sweet pink flowers and dramatic drapery...
This lovely piece was

handmade and hand painted
by a talented artist named
Gustavo
from Mexico City....
It measures 9 inches tall by 6 inches wide and 1 1/4 of an inch deep.
This is a contemporary example of a long tradition of tin retablos.  It is a lovely tribute to Mexico's Patron Saint....
There is a loop for hanging on the back.
